I went on a long road trip with some friends on our Honda Goldwing motorbikes. My wife took the photo from her seat behind me, I wanted her to capture the state of the roads. This is south of Craiova in Romania heading towards a ferry crossing into Bulgaria. The road is typical of ALL the roads in Romania and Bulgaria, this was a major road would you believe! The day was to be our longest day, we spent 15 hours on the worst roads we had ever rode on. We encountered crashed lorries, dead horses, gypsy’s, tramps and thieves and a hundred vehicle jam at the ferry.
It was one hell of a……JOURNEY.
